某些內容題目包含認識到為何老年人會較容易成為罪犯們的目標．當您明白為何您也可能會成為其中的目標時，這便是第一步提高了警惕用來保護自己打擊詐騙了．此部份亦會提供一些問題，如當您與一位買家接洽時應如何處理呢．

在第二節中將認識到一些欺騙者他們會利用的一連串的技巧和陷阱．

在第三節中會商討有關四個Ｄ的意義：

Deter, Delay, Deny, Detect

分別即為阻止，延遲，拒絕，察覺．

There are 3 sections in Module 1 and all contain information important to protecting yourself and your family against fraud.

Some of the topics covered include identifying why seniors are often targeted by criminals. If you understand why you might become a target, it is the first step in raising awareness and protecting yourself against fraud. This section also provides questions to ask when dealing with a seller.

The second section identifies a variety of techniques and tricks that a con artist may use. The third section discusses the four D’s which stand for Deter, Delay, Deny, Detect
